About

Built by a paralegal who has done the work.

Case & Co. exists for a specific problem: immigration attorneys with more work than hours, but not enough steady volume to justify a full-time hire.

With more than six years across employment-based, family-based, humanitarian, and removal defense matters, I know what a clean filing packet looks like, where RFEs come from, and how much of your week disappears into assembling exhibits. I have worked inside firms — not as a vendor watching from outside — and I build every deliverable the way I would want to receive it.

The engagement model is deliberately selective. A limited number of matters each month means the work gets real attention, deadlines are ones I can actually meet, and you are never wondering where your file sits.

Beatriz Pascoal Founder & Immigration Paralegal

Precision

We pay attention to every detail, because in immigration filings the details are the case.

Partnership

We work as an extension of your team, in your systems and to your standards.

Confidentiality

Your clients' trust is our priority. Every engagement is governed by a written confidentiality agreement.

Excellence

Consistent, review-ready work product — not drafts you have to rebuild.

Responsiveness

Clear communication, agreed turnarounds, and no chasing for status.

Peace of mind

We handle the assembly so you can focus on strategy and your clients.

Services

Four things, done thoroughly.

Support is project-based and scoped in writing. Everything is delivered for your review, revision, and filing — the work product is yours.

Application preparation & assembly

Complete filing packets built to your specifications and delivered ready for attorney review.

  • Form preparation and quality check
  • Exhibit indexes and cover letters
  • Supporting documentation checklists
  • Filing-ready packet assembly

Legal drafting

Written work product drafted from your direction and the record, in your firm's voice.

  • Support and cover letters
  • Client declarations and affidavits
  • Legal memoranda and briefs
  • Portuguese / English translation

Document & evidence organization

Records turned into something you can actually work from, in your case management system.

  • Evidence review and categorization
  • Exhibit tabbing, indexing, pagination
  • Chronologies and record summaries
  • Case file audits and cleanup

RFE / NOID response support

A structured response package built against every point the notice raises.

  • Line-by-line analysis of the notice
  • Responsive evidence identification
  • Response drafting and exhibit assembly
  • Deadline tracking through submission

Not seeing what you need? Scope varies by firm. If it is paralegal-level immigration work performed under your supervision, it is worth asking about.

How it works

Four steps from first call to filed.

01

Introductory call

A short call to understand your caseload, the categories you file most, and where the bottleneck actually is. No obligation.

02

Scope & agreement

A written scope of work, turnaround times, and a confidentiality agreement. Your supervision terms are documented up front.

03

Secure handoff

Files move through your case management system or an encrypted transfer. Work proceeds with status you can check, not chase.

04

Review & file

You receive review-ready work product, request revisions if needed, and file. Every decision and signature stays with you.

Pricing

Three ways to work together.

Scope is agreed in writing before anything starts, so you know the cost before you commit. No minimums, no retainer required to begin.

Per matter

Flat fee

$—Quoted per petition type

  • Priced by filing category, not by hour
  • Scope and turnaround fixed in advance
  • One round of revisions included
  • Best for predictable, repeating filings

Hourly

Monthly retainer

Reserved capacity

  • Best for steady, ongoing volume
Check availability

Case & Co. takes a limited number of matters each month. If capacity is full, you will be told at the introductory call rather than after you have committed.
